Edwards wants to take mosaic making into a more contemporary and graphic space, chucking traditional guidelines out of the window, while still being inspired by Byzantine and Roman art and design. Recent works have involved experiments with plaster and spray foam as she continues to work with non-digital materials in a digitally-conceived way.
