This glass-on-glass mosaic was made on a repurposed wood window. I patterned the rooster after Corny, the Kellogg Corn Flakes mascot. Italian millefiori add some dazzle to the sun rays. |

Having to travel frequently for my husband's medical treatments, I found using small vitreous tiles and a classic pattern made for a hotel-room-friendly project. I like how the bright colors transform the ancient Solomon's Knot motif. |
