Blame it on Tami. I started tiling at Santa Barbara School of Mosaic Art, in CA USA in 2014. Tami Macala taught and also brought in fabulous teachers for weekend workshops, and I was hooked on mosaics from the very first Intro to Mosaics Course. After retiring from a long career in the toy industry and a 2017 move to South Carolina, I work on my mosaic art every day. I continue learning with online course and creative experimentation. And while I live in a very artistic community, mosaic artists are few and far between. I look forward to tapping into the rich mosaic culture of the UK as well as interacting with other mosaic enthusiasts.
