Artist Statement Suzanne Blom All my spare time is devoted to creating mosaics. When I start a mosaic I never know where it will end. The fine balance of experimenting with different materials, colours and the spontaneous aspect heightens my inspiration continuously. I have an inexhaustible intrinsic motivation when I am making mosaics. Being always full of plans and new idea’s I predominately enjoy making pieces with a lot of colour, graphics and animal sculptures. However I also secretly enjoy occasionally making mosaics street art at night. These are generally small and unobtrusive mosaics in fractured road surfaces with a hidden message. www.mosaicatelieramsterdam.com
