Drostle Gary

I was born in London in 1961 and studied Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art, St Martins School of Art and Horsey (Middlesex) School of Art. I began my practice as a professional public artist soon after leaving Art College in 1984. I have travelled extensively across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Developing and exploring my work as an artist has taken me into many different areas including newspaper and magazine current affairs cartoons; book illustration; banner making; vehicle painting; Mural painting including, Buon Fresco painting; digital print processes; QR code works and Keim Murals. In my mosaic work I have gained an international reputation and have had my work feature at the ‘Mosaic Arts International’ exhibition for the last six years running. I have spoken and taught on mosaic across the USA and in the UK and have been a visiting lecturer at the Chicago Mosaic School for over ten years.
