BAMM Forum 2017 - MOSAIC: A CELEBRATION OF DESIGN, EXPRESSION & COLOUR

Organised by the British Association for Modern Mosaic

There are several different venues over the Forum weekend.  We have listed them all below with a map for each, as on the tickets it might appear that all events are at Pollock Halls!  We don't want anyone to get lost!  You need to have a ticket for each event that you want to attend.  Click on either of the links above to go to the Eventbrite ticket page.

BAMM Mosaic Forum

Saturday 30th September 9am to 6pm

SOUTH HALL AT POLLOCK HALLS

Pedestrian access can be gained through a gate from Dalkeith Road, just below the bus stop for the Commonwealth Swimming Pool.

 9-10am: Forum registration, morning refreshments and the University of Edinburgh 'Handling Session' of the Paolozzi Tottenham Court Road arches mosaic fragments.

10-10.45am: BAMM AGM

The Forum will directy follow the AGM.  There will be an hour break for lunch and an afternoon refreshment break, finishing at 6 to 6.30pm

 

BAMM Forum Evening Social and Dinner

Spoon is on the first floor.  There are glass double doors at street level.

 

BAMM Forum Workshops

Registration 9.30-10am will be inside the entrance to the Wee Red Bar in the glass corridor, to the right of the main (old) building in the courtyard.  Vehicle entrance via Lady Lawson Street.

 

The map below gives you some idea of where the venues are in relation to each other.

Edinburgh has a good bus service.  Google Lothian Buses for timetable and routes.

If you like walking Edinburgh is a compact city to get around; from Motel One/Waverley Station you can walk to Patriot Hall Gallery in 25 minutes, ECA and Spoon in 20 minutes and Pollock Halls in 40 minutes.
