I was born in London in 1961 and studied Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art, St Martins School of Art and Horsey (Middlesex) School of Art. I began my practice as a professional public artist soon after leaving Art College in 1984.
I have travelled extensively across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East and have studied a number of foreign languages including Arabic and Chinese.
Developing and exploring my work as an artist has taken me into many different areas including newspaper and magazine current affairs cartoons; book illustration; banner making; vehicle painting; Mural painting including, Buon Fresco painting; digital print processes; QR code works and Keim Murals.
In my mosaic work I have gained an international reputation and have had my work feature at the ‘Mosaic Arts International’ exhibition for the last six years running. I have spoken and taught on mosaic across the USA and in the UK and was elected President of the British Association for Modern Mosaic in 2006 and Chairman in 2010.
