Jewellery, Furniture, Sculpture
Having trained in Florence for nearly four years I now have a workshop at my home in South Northamptonshire where I inlay semi-precious stones into marble.
I am engaged in the traditional Florentine art of Commesso di Pietre Dure, also known as Mosaico Fiorentino or Pietra Dura. I receive commissions for tabletops, boxes, panels and less costly items such as paperweights or stone artefacts which need to be personalised.
I also carry out restoration work of Pietra Dura. I have accumulated a large stock of stones, mostly agates, chalcedonies, jaspers, lapis lazuli, malachite, onyx, and a wide range of marbles including Belgium black marble.
